Spanish Anchovies from Consorcio are hand‑prepared on the Cantabrian coast, where anchovies have been salted, filleted and preserved for generations. Founded in Santoña in 1950, Consorcio was built by people who knew fish — not from textbooks, but from daily work at the shore.

Each fillet is carefully cleaned, trimmed and packed by hand before being covered in olive oil. The result is an anchovy that is firm yet silky, savoury but balanced, with a depth of flavour that unfolds slowly rather than hitting all at once.

Straight from the tin, these Spanish Anchovies bring instant intensity to simple food. Lay them over warm toast with olive oil. Let them melt into pasta, eggs or vegetables. Pair them with roasted peppers, tomatoes or a cold beer and little else is needed.

This small 40g tin holds pure Cantabrian character — salty, savoury and deeply satisfying, just as anchovies should be.
